Ipsen are a French Pharmaceutical company celebrating ten successful years in Australia.  The workshop took place in the beautiful setting of the Peppers Sands Resort in Lorne. The overall picture represents the positive partnerships the company strives for as well as Ipsens logo. This original piece now hangs proudly in the company’s main reception area as a unique example of the importance of the 'people' behind the company.

The Melbourne Business School International Future of Learning conference

The Team Mural process was used to consolidate the key learning’s from the conference, while modelling many of the concepts explored at the conference such as novelty, curiosity, robust conversation & use of all senses to create new connections in the brain.

This piece was created by nearly 60 Nurses from the McGrath Foundation. This group rarely take the time to look after themselves, so the night was designed to give them a new experience, while visually representing the benefits of keeping fresh. Many of the nurses are from the country and their role is not only to look after the women but the whole family. Great art and a night of hilarity.

This picture was created by C02. C02 is geographically spread out, so this workshop was designed to focus on networking and collaboration. The team experienced the process of collaboration and each canvass depicts one of the benefits of networking. 

ANZ Dandenong Region - Team Building Melbourne

This Klimt inspired piece represents the vision and values for the ANZ Branch Managers of the Dandenong Region. The tree represents positive growth that the ANZ team helps both the individual and the community achieve. Each canvass represents a key value including leadership, quality, integrity and sustainability.

This piece was created by the Services team at the DEECD to represent the value the team provides the rest of the business. Each individual picture is a visual metaphor of support including a heartbeat and engine room. The overall picture which is a reflection in the water tells the story that Support areas are often not highly visible but provide under the surface support and strength.

This colourful, Klee inspired piece represents great teamwork. The overall face depicts a good team has a shared vision and common outlook, while the individual pictures show that a team is also made up of very different people with different skills and talents. The strong, bold colours represent the personality of the team.

This vibrant piece represents BPs Human Resource People Strategy. Each circle represents one of the main strategic imperatives with the overall colours depicting the energy the strategy provides the organisation. This piece has pride of place in the new BP Docklands office and the art is being used in many different ways to continue  to communicate the plan.

Experian Team Building Melbourne

This is our first Street Art inspired piece.  A team from Experian (an IT company) ventured into the alleys of Melbourne to learn about Street Art. From there they came back to the Docklands studio and created a piece to represent the benefits of increasing their communication with each other and their clients. The team got to create their own stencils and use spray cans as well as traditional mediums. The overall piece is entitled "Quality Noise" and is now hanging in the Melbourne office. A great talking point and quality communication tool.

This gorgeous piece was created at the Jan 2011 Mind Gallery Open. It holds an abstract depiction of the Mind Sets requried to acheive the participants 2011 goals. The rabbit was chosen as the concept to celebrate The Year of the Rabbit.

The overall piece is inspired by the Ao Dai which is a Vietnamese traditional dress, made of a patchwork of beautiful colors and materials, it is a celebration of the cultural diversity of the team. Swiss Re used the Mind Gallery for a large conference with over 90 of their staff from around the world. The Mind Gallery capped off a professional development conference and focused on some key priorities for the year.

ANZ – T&TS – Leadership team building Melbourne

Use: Conference Event and leadership tool.

Over 100 of the senior leadership team of ANZ Trade and Transaction Services used the Mind Gallery as part of a two-day leadership forum. The Mind Gallery component focused on the area of personal development and ‘Growth’, which is depicted by a fern. Teams of eight then developed their own visual representations of growth, which can be seen inside the fern. In addition to this digital image, the original piece – (which is more than three metres long), is hanging proudly in the foyer of one of the Collins street T&TS floors.

OAMPs – Sales Conference Activity Tasmania

Use: Teamwork and communication of OAMPS competitive strengths in the market place.

OAMPs used the Mind Gallery process as an integral part of a recent conference held in Tasmania. Over 250 delegates worked together to create this magnificant piece of art, which is now hanging proudly in the Foyer of OAMPS Head Office. The focus of the Mind Gallery session, was on what makes OAMPS unique in the market place. Given that the 250 delegates do not work together, it was also an excellent opportunity to create a greater sense of teamwork, and to maintain the positive feeling and motivation achieved at the conference.

PWC used the Mind Gallery as a team building event for 70 of its staff that specifically look after the Telstra account. While wanting to have a fun event, the manager wanted to focus their commitment to broaden and deepen their client relationships. The event was a great deal of fun, as well as producing a stunning Team Mural which visually represents the strength of relationship PWC aims to develop with Telstra.

The Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) committee used the Mind Gallery as a tool to cap off their strategic planning workshop. After working through a traditional planning process, the team then visually represented the key themes of the AITD, being ‘Growth’ and ‘Connections’. The process was an excellent way to balance the ‘left brain’ planning process with a creative ‘right brain’ approach. The piece will be used at the AITDs 2004 conference as a visually stimulating way to present the AITDs focus for the next three years.

The Mind Gallery team were featured at the conference as an example of something that is new and innovative in the training and development industry. This piece of art was created by participants the NESA Victorian conference 2006. The work, in its entirety, represents being curious and looking behind the mask of the people that we deal with. The brightly coloured circus tent background is symbolic of the “behind the scenes” character and compassion required to achieve amazing revelations. images that fill each mask were designed and painted by the workshop participant’s to symbolize the value of “curiosity”.

In keeping with the renaissance theme, the hand with sword represents that of the iconic “lady of the lake”. As the sword rises heroically from the water, the surrounding mist lingers eerily across the other four images giving the overall piece more depth.

This piece of art was created during one of the sessions of a three day HR event. It explored the organizations values, but through the lens of creativity. The Team Mural therefore not only created a picture to represent the companies values, but the event was tailored to instill the skills, culture and language required to be a truly creative Department.
The overall image was chosen to show that you need to unlock peoples sometimes ‘dormant’ creativity and ‘let it out of the box’.

This piece of art was designed and created by the Styker Finance team. The overall concept represents the advancement of meaningful innovation. The “advancement” is symbolised by the majestic flight of the bird, swiftly moving forward. The birds wings double as linked hands, showing the importance of partnering with all aspects of the business for meaningful innovation; The hands have been utilized as wings to offer the bird freedom of flight.

BUPA Australia (HBA) – Leadership Team Building Melbourne

BUPA is one of the world's leading international health insurance and health care organisation, insuring six million people world-wide. The theme for BUPA Australia leadership conference was ‘Painting the Future’. Contracted by the Mettle Group, the Mind Gallery conducted a workshop to do exactly that.

The art work is designed to symbolize “Taking care of the lives in our hands” with the individual work representing the three values underpinning that vision. The artwork will be used by the leaders to bring the vision to life with their teams and partners.

The team work in different geographical areas and do not have the opportunity to come together regularly. The new manager wanted them to embrace the national vision, and build on their cohesiveness as a team. The process was used to create ownership for the vision, and to have an enjoyable team experience. The art shows the individual images as a reflection on water. This is to symbolise the images representing the team’s reflection of the national vision. The subtle overlay of a rudder represents the focus on direction and staying on course. A copy of the art is now available to all areas of the team, and will be used to underpin ongoing professional development activities.

Australia Post Commercial Vic/Tas – Team Building Melbourne

The Commercial Division Executive team used the Mind Gallery process at their leadership conference, as a unique way to visually represent the main focus of the team for 2004. The workshop process and resulting art piece focused on the theme of ‘connectedness’ and the design of the art piece and materials captured the beauty of the surrounding environment of Cape Otway. The pieces have transformed the Boardroom and are regularly used for on-going leadership discussions and team focus.

The Financial Services Executive team used the Mind Gallery as a fun and entertaining way to kick off and focus their strategy workshop. The department worked in groups to visually represent the key values of the team. The MS Society leadership team used the Mind Gallery process to help formulate and then communicate their new vision. This event was one of the first time the new leadership team worked together, so the process was also an excellent team building tool.

Oracle – Sales Conference Activity Sydney

This piece of art was created at Oracles FY09 Kickoff. The yacht symbolizes excitement, winning and team work. Oracle have made many acquisitions over the past 2 years so the art also addresses the need to become one team. The individual images making up the sails represent the benefits of the being one team from a sales perspective.

This piece of art was created by the SMS&P leadership team to represent the unique value of the group. Words to describe the value of SMS&P included being the place to be, a unique environment that is spirited, and entrepreneurial and to play as one team.

This picture was created by the Ericsson Access Project team. The overall piece is inspired by a stylized thumbprint symbolizing individual identity and a futuristic key to gain ‘access’. The individual pieces represent the freedom to explore.

The Business Services Team used the Mind Gallery process to create a visual representation of their teams values - which included being passionate and dynamic. The Williamstown Yacht Club set the scene for all participants to create their own picture to represent one of the values. The final digital picture uses the 'chilli' (which of course represents passion!) to unite the individual pieces of work.

Telstra – Business and Government – Leadership Team Building Sydney

A newly established Business and Government Telstra team used the Mind Gallery as a unique way for the managers to get to know each other, while focusing on what is important to this new team. In just under two hours, 40 senior managers designed and painted what ‘unity’ looks like to them, with the individual pieces coming together to form this Picasso style face. The resulting image is an inspiring representation of what can be achieved through synergy, creativity and teamwork.

Telstra TC&M Team: Executive Vision – Leadership Team Building Sydney

The art reflects how the team would like their customers to view them - inspiring, listening and responsive. The individual artworks were assembled to create one unique picture and each senior leader will have a copy to reinforce the value of having a Total Customer Focus.

AMP IT Division – Team Building Sydney

This picture was created by over 350 staff of the IT Division at AMP, at an end of year event. With over 40 tables, and 15 artists there was certainly a great deal of energy, excitement and creativity displayed. The theme focused on the AMP ‘Pillars’ which underpin the AMP @ IT culture. The art was inspired by the famous Australian artist John Coburn, featuring his use of strong shapes and earthy Australian colours. Blackstone Legal Costing enjoyed the Mind Gallery event to help celebrate the end of the year and use as a novel team-building event. This original piece of art is a proud addition to the company’s offices.

The Law Institute – Team Building and Strategy Melbourne

The Law Institute of Victoria, used the Mind Gallery to cap off a strategic planning day and use as an interactive team building activity. Picasso was the inspiration for the overall design of the piece, while the team members focused on painting ‘their ideal team’.

Maddox Lawyers – Induction Team Building Melbourne

Maddocks Law Firm used the Team Mural as a way to introduce new Article Clerks to the culture and values of the firm, while providing an informal way for the teams to get to know each other. The final piece incorporates each value with the backdrop borrowing from the firm’s logo.

Philip Morris – Team Building & Vision Melbourne

This piece of art was designed and created by the Philip Morris HR team. The overall piece represents the goal of developing an agile, winning organization. The imagery within the waves represents the Philip Morris values and how they are lived within the HR team.

Sutton Tools – Team Building Melbourne

Sutton Tools used the Mind Gallery process at their February OH&S workshop. The team developed a 'Vision for Safety' and the resulting artwork will be used to help communicate this vision. As the OH&S team work at different sites, the Mind Gallery process was also an excellent vehicle for the team members to get to know each other and develop their teamwork skills through the creation of art.

Fosters Group – Leadership Team Building Melbourne

Over 80 of the Fosters Australia leadership team used the Mind Gallery process to launch a new business vision and supporting Values. The process enabled the teams from different parts of the organisation to work together in an informal way, while producing an outstanding icon, which is being used to communicate the strategy and values across the organisation.

Toll SPD – Values and Team Building Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth

The Mind Gallery facilitated a vision and values workshop for the Toll SPD leadership team. Once the vision and values were established the art was created to cement the ownership and give the leadership team a tool to communicate the vision and values. The design of the head and cogs, reflects the leadership mindset required to drive the business. The cogs reflect the interdependence and teamwork required to live the values. The original piece now hangs at the reception area of Head Office, while the Mind Gallery team is now working with different branches to create their own piece or art to represent the behaviours to bring the vision to life.

Incitec Pivot – Team Building Melbourne

The National Accounting Team are based all around country and therefore do not often get the chance to work together. The Team Mural was used as a tool to encourage collaboration and for the team to focus on what value they provide their business. The overall image is a piece of wheat, which captures the key essence of the company and the team, which is to facilitate growth.

Jenny Craig: Divisional Managers – Team Building Melbourne

The Jenny Craig management team used the Mind Gallery process to cap off their leadership conference. The piece reflects the positive mind-set and attitude required to be an effective leader.

Flight Centre – Team Building Melbourne

The highly energetic and motivated ‘Geronimo Team’ from Flight Centre, used the Mind Gallery process to complete their conference. The team are made up of 19 flight centre shops that were each able to create their own piece of art. The individual pieces were then put together to create an identity for the Geronimo. The art is used at all ongoing professional development events and team meetings to keep the motivation focused and alive.

Leonard Joel - Team Building Melbourne

As Australia’s busiest auction house the staff at Leonard Joel does not get much time to smell the roses. Mind Gallery was used to kick of a week long conference in January that focused upon the strength of communication.

L’Oreal - Team Building Melbourne

L’Oreal used the Mind Gallery, to complete an 8 week program which explored the sales team’s new vision and strategic framework. Using L’Oreal products (eg lipstick, nail polish etc) the sales team produced this stunning Picasso style painting, which was chosen as it reflects the beautiful, colourful, and exotic nature of the company.

Stamford Hotel – Customer Relationship Building Melbourne

This art represents being in the Peak Performance Zone. This painting was contributed to by guests at a lunch co-hosted by the Mind Gallery and the Stamford Hotel. Guests were taken on a journey where they remembered a time when they were performing at their best. After a series of exercises, they drew then painted a visual representation of what being in the Zone looked like to them. Their individual images were placed inside an overall image designed by the Mind Gallery artist.

Flight Centre – Northern Exposure Team - Team Building Melbourne

The Mind Gallery process was used to create a visual representation of the Flight Centres key business basics, which underpin how they do business on a day to day basis. The final piece is being used to ‘brand’ the Northern Exposure Team.

Mind Gallery - Team Building Melbourne

This piece was produced at a lunch hosted by the Stamford Plaza Hotel and Business Retreats Australia. Guests focused on their greatest achievements for the year and what this represented for them. They then painted their individual symbols inside a large mango which represents summer holidays in Australia. The Mind Gallery team used the resulting artwork as their 2003 Christmas card.

Essendon Football Club - Team Building Melbourne

The players and coaches of the Essendon Football club invited the Mind Gallery team to help them with their pre-season activities. A rigorous process was used, which took the players through a range of activities including brainstorming, visualisation, digital photography, drawing and painting. The overall piece represents a winning mindset.

Melbourne Cricket Club MCC - Team Building Melbourne

Use: Focus team on key purpose

Excitement was the theme for this team mural, painted by the membership department of the MCC. When a customer receives notification that their membership has become available they are very excited. The membership department opens the door to that excitement as depicted in the picture. The main values of the team are shown on the panels of the door, representing 'focus as one', 'respect' and 'fun'.

John Holland - Team Building Sydney

This piece was produced by senior business development team members of John Holland to represent the benefits of Collaboration. The overall image is based on Da Vinci’s Vetruvian Man. Da Vinci’s work was chosen because of his unique talent of blending the worlds of Science, Architecture and Art. This is also the challenge of the current business development teams, with the challenge of blending the varied skills and talents of their business development teams and the various businesses of John Holland. The Vetruvian man also represents the notion of the perfect ‘blueprint’ which blends architecture with people and the balance of the universe.

BP Retail - Team Building Melbourne

This piece of art, was created by the BP Retail Leadership team to represent their Vision and Mission…. “Through our people become the Convenience Retailer of Choice”

The overall art piece, shows a ‘rhumba line’, where people choose to join in the fun. There is a sense of colour, enjoyment and energy. The images which make up the whole represent what needs to be ‘done’, or created, to give customers a reason to return.
