Cross Cultural Team Building

A top 5 accounting firm, had a challenge to run an international event with a team building activity high achievers. The activity had to cater for people with a mixed level of English and with vastly different cultural backgrounds and experiences.

The conference was held in Vietnam, the overall piece is inspired by the Ao Dai which is a Vietnamese traditional dress, made of a patchwork of beautiful colors and materials. It is a celebration of the cultural diversity of the team.

Prior to the Mind Gallery session, the delegates had visited different areas within Vietnam and had undertaken a range of volunteering activities. The business goal of the Mind Gallery session was therefore to capture what the delegates learned from such a rich experience. The secondary agenda was for the participants to mix and network with each other in a relaxed format. Art being a universal language was a fantastic way to accelerate team building as well as produce a beautiful anchor of the conference and the learning experience.
